Product Review | Hair by Sam McKnight Pt. 1

Kim September 7, 2018

This is no ordinary hair stylist from overseas, he is an icon in the fashion world. About as iconic as you can get. He flew in to Sydney and Melbourne to commemorate the launch of his easy-to-use styling products.

Product Review | Korres Golden Krocus Ageless Elixr Serum

Kim August 14, 2018

The Golden Krocus Elixir is not really a serum nor an essence. It's a combination of both, leaning more on the active serum end. It's great to scatter into your routine as you can use it alone or underneath any of your serums.

Product Review | Tatcha Silk Canvas

Kim July 16, 2018

What I really love about the Tatcha products is their authenticity to their customers. They are a brand who truly put their customer's needs first and I genuinely believe that. From their detail in packaging to their notes from the founder Vicky Tsai. It's a brand you really have to get on board with.

Product Review | Korres Wild Rose Sleeping Facial

Kim November 8, 2017

The Philosophy

Korres is a brand who I believe are extremely under the radar. They are a thoughtful, safe, effective brand who pride themselves on their potent ingredients and skincare technology. They focus on 4 areas:

  1. Precious extracts - where they use cold extraction processes, recycle all forms of the plant, and utilitse precious botanicals native to Greece.

  2. Advanced research - where they test the same way pharmaceuticals would test to ensure product safety and efficacy. They also ensure the product has natural ingredients.

  3. Thoughtful formulas - including tests for dermatologists, opthomologists and excluding preservatives by using anti-microbial ingredients

  4. Passion - whether it's for research, ingredients, environment and skin.

Product Review | Huxley Extract It Toner + Oil Essence

Kim September 6, 2017

The Philosophy

Huxley is a new cult Korean skincare range boasting natural extracts that provide a wealth of hydration. Their key ingredient focus is cactus oils which have been known to be a key beauty staple for women in the Saharan desert. This is the first brand that has used cactus oil as a hero ingredient in the range.

I saw myself constantly gravitating toward these pencils and so I felt the need to review. Extremely blendable and versatile, the @makeupforever Pencils have now become a staple in my kit. I can’t wait for some fun colours to be released. Shades mentioned: ✨ Endless Cacao (greyish brown) ✨ Limitless Brown (warm, dark brown) ✨ Wherever Walnut (neutral rose) ✨ Anywhere Caffeine (warm spice brown)
letting things smudge
• it took all my strength to refrain from cleaning up the liner but it somehow turned out better as an imperfect happy accident •
thank you to the best team

A new favourite added to the collection. It literally combines all the scents I grew up with. It’s insanely fresh whilst enveloping you in a warm spicy cloud. I prefer scents that aren’t overpowering to my nose but still remain interesting (especially if you stand close by). @shiro_japan Spice of Life
